Short description of the system:
The solar light simulation system G-BMW-1110 enables the irradiation of vehicles or test boxes in test stands with global radiation.
In the defined irradiation plane, an irradiation intensity of 1000W/m2 is achieved, with a tolerance of ± 5%.
The irradiation device consists of 12 lamps equipped with OSRAM HMI 2500W GSX (double socket) light sources.
To start the lamps, 1 igniter of type IGC-4k-03 is integrated into each lamp housing.
For user-friendly maintenance of the lamp reflectors, for replacing light sources or igniters, the lamp housing can be opened externally at the required points, allowing maintenance work to be optimized and performed without disassembling the lamps.
The power supply and control of the entire irradiation system is mounted in a 19" control cabinet.
Operating and controlling all lamp functions is done via WUT interface or touch panel
Potential-free contacts for switching on and off via climate chamber, release of climate chamber, and error reporting to WUT in case of lamp failure.
Emergency stop: mushroom button on the control cabinet door and integration into the emergency stop circuit of WUT; activating the emergency stop from BFE also switches off the emergency stop of WUT

  • Replacement of necessary components, if unavoidable
  • Evacuate the circuit and refill it with R 452A, for example.
