Information on battery disposal

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, the seller is obliged to inform you of the following:

As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can return batteries after use to the seller or to the designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or retailers) free of charge. You can also return the batteries to the seller by mail. The seller will reimburse you for the postage costs for returning your used battery.

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings:

= Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.

• Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by mass
• Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass
• Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by weight.
