The sun simulation system consists of three main parts.
Radiator Section

Radiator Section
The radiator section consists of 4 radiator modules SOL 1200 and 12 radiator modules SOL 2000.
The 16 radiators are arranged in a radiator field of 4x4 modules.
Control Cabinet 1
The electrical supply for the 16 modules SOL 1200 and SOL 2000 is provided through Control Cabinet 1, which houses the control modules and compensation capacitors.
The control cabinet contains all necessary monitoring and control functions for the operation of the system.
A 3-phase alternating current supply is required. The entire system can be switched off via a main switch, which also serves as an emergency stop switch.
The circuit is designed so that when switched on, the radiators are activated in two stages to reduce the inrush current.
A potential-free contact is available for fault reporting in case of radiator failure or overheating in a radiator module. All operating and display elements are located on the front panel of the control cabinet door.
Control Cabinet 2
Control Cabinet 2 contains the control devices for the individual modules. The control cabinet is forced-ventilated, and the cabinet temperature is monitored with a thermostat.

  • Extraction and proper disposal of the previous refrigerant
  • Replacement of necessary components, if unavoidable
  • Evacuate the circuit and refill it with R 452A, for example.
  • Checking / adjusting overheating in expansion valves
  • Leak test
  • Test run of the system
