What is a Dry Storage Cabinet?

A Dry Storage Cabinet in electronics manufacturing is a cabinet where moisture-sensitive electronic components,
populated and unpopulated printed circuit boards, as well as semi-finished assemblies can be stored in a dry atmosphere.
This prevents the components from absorbing moisture and being damaged during the soldering process.
To create an atmosphere with low humidity,
 the dry storage cabinet can be flooded with compressed air
and/or nitrogen depending on the required humidity level.
Through a display with integrated control, the process parameters of the cabinet can be retrieved and adjusted.
