IPETRONIK Interior Simulation Box (new and unused)
The interior simulation box is designed to simulate the passenger compartment for tests in recirculation mode.
It has a variable interior volume of 1.8 to 4m³.
The exhaust air volume flow from the front evaporator or air conditioning unit is regulated and directed into the interior.
Only rear evaporators installed in the passenger compartment are tested with the interior simulation box.
The insulated housing is mounted on an aluminum profile frame with wheels.
A light is installed in the chamber.
The box is secured against overheating by a safety thermostat (Esti).
If the permissible temperature is exceeded, a glass cartridge in the ESTI is destroyed. The system will stop.

Recirculation System:
For temperature control, a heat exchanger (Systemair) for indirect temperature control is installed in the recirculation duct.
The air is circulated by a radial pipe fan (Cosmo), heating is done via an integrated electric heater in the brine circuit (Türk and Hillinger).
The heaters are continuously monitored by temperature sensors and limiters (Türk and Hillinger, Johnson Controls).
The cooling is done via a secondary brine circuit with pumps (KSB) and a 3-way valve (Belimo).Installed electrical heating power 1 * 6kW.
The mixing ratio is 50% water / 50% ethylene glycol.
