370.25 Servo-hydraulic Load Frame 

The servo-hydraulic load frames of the MTS Series 370 are extremely rigid and maintenance-friendly. They feature an innovative,
cylinder-centered actuator design, precision-engineered columns, lightweight crossheads, and laser-guided factory alignment,
to ensure unparalleled static and dynamic testing performance. The load frames of the MTS Series 370 are designed
to enhance user-friendliness and operator safety.
They include top-notch ergonomic features such as: 

- Conveniently positioned system controls for efficient sample installation and test setup
- Easy-to-turn operating handles with clear, universally understandable symbols
- A repositionable crosshead that can accommodate a variety of sample sizes

Cylinder-centered Actuator

The load frame of the MTS Series 370 uses an innovative, cylinder-centered design,
which integrates MTS actuators with fatigue rating directly into the crossbeam to form an integrated
actuator carrier. This construction minimizes the number of required joints and
results in a frame that exhibits high axial and lateral stiffness, superior reliability, and a
high degree of uptime. 

- Symmetrical end caps allow easy access to the piston rod seals,
without the need to remove the drive from the load frame, facilitating maintenance
- The precision machining of the end cap flanges allows for automatic
realignment of the end cap to the piston rod
- MTS ring step bearings provide a large lateral load capacity through hydrostatically supported strut pressure
- MTS proprietary directly bonded polymer ensures high durability and close
alignment of the actuator bearings

MTS Model 661.22 Load Cell 

Load cells of the MTS 661 series are designed for a variety of static and dynamic test applications.
The cells are designed for cyclic operation in tension/compression mode without load. 

- Low deflection and high stiffness ensure better dynamic performance.
- The high-performance shear beam design withstands loads and moments
out of axis and increases accuracy and resolution.
- Proprietary wiring reduces electrical interference.
- Temperature compensation ensures stability.
- Made from aircraft-quality steels that have been specially heat-treated

Subsystem for High-Temperature Induction Heating 

- Induction heating subsystem 
- This subsystem provides HF generator, control, HF fern oscillator, coil, 
mounting brackets, and coil positioners as well as external air cooling components. 
- Sample temperatures up to 1200 °C. 
- Heating rates depend on the sample material, size, and temperature range. 
Typical rates for TMF heating are up to 10 °C / s 
- MTS standard spiral induction coil with 5 turns, water-cooled; 
is provided for initial system verification purposes. 
- Control thermocouples type R

MTS FlexTest Electronic Control System

MTS FlexTest 40 Controller

The MTS FlexTest 40 Control System is a versatile, user-friendly servo controller 
for general test applications. It offers real-time control with transducer conditioning 
and function generation to drive various types of servo actuators.
It is fully configurable to meet your future requirements, 
allowing you to run new tests without changing cables.
Free from configuration constraints, you can use any resource for any channel.

Includes system software MTS Model 793.00

The basic TestWare® software provides the simplest way, 
to set up and run simple tests.

Compensation techniques optimize control even for demanding tests 
and "difficult" samples.

The Model 494.41 card supports 3 pairs of user-definable DIO- 
and 2 analog auxiliary outputs as well as HPS, HPU, and interlock control.

Digital Universal Conditioners (DUCs) provide space for a variety of transducers.

The VD / DUC card Model 494.16 supports one transducer and a two-stage valve 
or drives a three-stage valve.

The Model 494.26 supports two transducers.

The excitation detection independently verifies the correct 
voltage at the transducer regardless of cable length.

The detection of excitation losses minimizes errors in the test data 
and protects sample integrity.
