VHS Pressure Plates
Lower pressure plate mounted on the T-slot plate using the
piezo force sensor of the static clamping. The specimen is held in position by 4 clamping rods arranged in a circle.
The upper pressure plate is attached to the piston rod via a sliding connection.
The sliding connection is fixed with a shear pin. The shear pin prevents
overload.

off-center load to avoid damage from lateral loads
