Description

The Instron 2663-822 Standard Video Extensometer (SVE) is a non-contact optical
measurement system for precise strain measurement during tensile, compressive, and bending tests.
Through non-contact measurement via digital image processing, markings on the
sample surface are tracked – without any mechanical influence on the test result.

Ideal for applications where traditional contact extensometers (e.g., with blades) are unsuitable
– such as with thin, sensitive, or elastic materials.

The SVE is compatible with Instron material testing machines and can be integrated via the
Bluehill software (depending on system version).
