The QUASAR 200 / 250 kN universal testing machines are frequently used for tensile tests on metals,
CFRP plastics, component testing (automotive: sheet metal parts) and much more.
Like all other QUASAR testing machines, this one is also capable of performing all common standard tests
for material testing and material examination. The QUASAR universal testing machine
is a typical testing machine for service providers in material testing.
It is used, for example, for conducting metal tensile tests according to ISO6892-1
Method A and B on solid steel material, sheet tensile samples, GFRP plastic, CFRP carbon fiber composite,
wire ropes, chains ...

Since the software can manage up to 3 load cells, this testing machine can also be equipped with a
load cell of 1,000 N (smallest load cell 10 N) so that even the smallest loads ("twist")
can be safely tested.
As with all QUASAR universal testing machines, the software also provides
machine stiffness compensation: After integrating the testing tools required for your test setup,
you conduct a test (without a sample using a 100% rigid material / steel block).
The error curve is recorded and deducted in "sharp" tests...

The testing machine frame consists of a stable, 2-column construction. Special emphasis was placed
on ergonomic design and advanced technology. The powerful electronics and top-quality sensors
enable tests with extreme resolution and accuracy (resolution of the force signal: 200,000 digits).
All QUASAR universal testing machines can be used from 1/100 of the utilized load cell and meet the requirements
of accuracy class 05. Optionally, forces below this (1/500 of the nominal load) can be used with an accuracy
within accuracy class 1. The traverse path signal is displayed with a resolution of 0.0001 mm (0.1 µm)
(internal resolution even higher).
