The Zeiss Axio Lab.A1 is a modular microscope.
In addition to its application with transmitted light for transparent specimens,
which mainly occur in biological and medical research,
the Zeiss AxioLab.A1 can be equipped for reflected light through the objectives.
In this configuration, it is used in geology and material testing.
Reflected light, transmitted light, bright field, dark field, polarization, phase contrast, fluorescence - almost everything is possible.

Instead of conventional standard lighting, a 12 V/35 W halogen reflector lamp,
a long-lasting LED with warm or cool light can be used.

This microscope is conceptually designed for everyday use in biomedical laboratories,
universities, and research institutions.
It is not just a simple tool, but a successful instrument for routine work.
