Display

The display in the touch panel consists of a high-resolution, color, backlit TFT module.
The display has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels (VGA) and has the capability to display up to
3200 characters simultaneously using the normal character set. The characters of the normal
character set are displayed in a matrix of 8 x 12 pixels. Due to the format, 40
lines with 80 characters each can be displayed. Furthermore, any character set available in Windows
can be displayed.
The touch panel has its optimal viewing angle at approximately 90°.
The brightness setting can be adjusted during operation via a system variable.

Adjustment of Backlighting
The backlighting of the display can be changed via software. For this, the system variable LCDContrast must be set up in an I/O mask in the user manual.
Any editor that allows the input and modification of integers can be used to change the variable. The range limits for the editor should be set as follows:
Lower limit: 0 (dark)
Upper limit: +70 (bright)
