With the fourth generation SpectraLight QC, X-Rite
sets new standards for visual color assessment in quality control.
The proven SpectraLight III model has been completely revised
and equipped with many new options.
The basic principle remains the same; the SpectraLight QC simulates daylight according to CIE
using patented filtered tungsten halogen technology.
Filtered halogen light is currently the most precise simulation of natural daylight.

The SpectraLight light booth series has been used for over 20 years
for production and quality control in nearly all industrial sectors
for visual color assessment in design, technology, printing, research, and development.
The new model offers precision and user-friendliness at the highest level and is
preferred by leading automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.

Integrated lux meter for all light types to monitor illumination intensity
The booth can be connected to a computer via a USB cable.
The protocol for each color assessment can output the light types used,
information on standard, sample, testing person, and more. Customer specifications for color assessment
(light types, light intensity) can be saved and retrieved as needed.
The SpectraLight QC is equipped with 7 light types:
The standard equipment for Europe includes: Daylight D65, TL84, U30, CWF, light type A, Horizon, and UV light.
The fluorescent lamps (tubes) are dimmable,
allowing customer requests and specifications to be easily met.

NEW with the SpectraLight QC
Calibrated UV lighting to switch on:

The UV lighting is calibrated to match daylight,
it is measured separately and added in the correct proportion.

Alternatively:
It is possible to program the device so that the calibrated UV lighting is automatically switched on
when using the D65 light source.
