Process Overview:
The electric framing station is used for the automated framing of laminates with aluminum profiles.
The laminate and aluminum profiles are fed in automatically by a suitable handling system,
e.g., a robot with a gripper, either simultaneously or at different times.
In the framing station, the long frame profiles are pressed onto the laminate first, followed by the short frame profiles
(with pre-pressed corner angles).
Subsequently, the four joined corners of the solar module are optionally checked for required assembly quality using image processing (camera and evaluation software).
The finished framed solar module is automatically removed by a suitable handling system and fed to subsequent processes depending on the inspection results.
1. The framing station must be converted to the solar module size to be produced
2. The framing station is open and in operational mode for inserting the solar module components
with a suitable handling device (e.g., robot with gripper).
3. The robot places the frame profiles, and the framing station positions and clamps these profiles.
The first long frame profile is positioned and clamped on the stationary base structure,
the second long frame profile is positioned and clamped on the movable longitudinal axis,
the two short frame profiles are positioned and clamped on each movable transverse axis.
Likewise, the laminate is positioned on the movable laminate carriage and clamped using suitable components.
4. The framing station presses the two long frame profiles onto the laminate using the driven longitudinal axis and the forced-coupled laminate carriage.
5. Subsequently, the two transverse axes press the two short frame profiles onto the laminate with the long frame profiles using two pressing consoles each.
6. Optionally, a check of the joined frame profiles is performed using suitable image processing (camera and evaluation software).
7. The assembled solar module is removed using a suitable handling system, and another assembly process can take place.
