The vice can be placed under the microscope with a clamped sample.

This allows checking during layer thickness measurements whether the layer has already been ground through.

If not, the vice with the sample is precisely repositioned on the cross table and the grinding process is continued.

Plus setting gauge for kaloMAX NT: with the setting gauge, the sample can be adjusted at different thicknesses so that it is always measured with the same contact force.
