Disposable Tips
For applications requiring total flexibility, Packard's exclusive VersaTip technology enables a single sampling probe to provide selective use of either washable tips or a variety of disposable tips in the same routine without any user intervention required to change from one tip type to another. This versatility eliminates contamination while minimizing the
consumption of disposables.

Dynamic Volume Range from Milliliters to Nanoliters
The MultiPROBE II can be configured with conventional fluidic path components to provide pipetting of samples and reagents from milliliter to microliter volumes. The use of micro-stepping in the dilutors provides unmatched precision even at 1 µL with the conventional configuration. For applications requiring submicroliter pipetting, the MultiPROBE II can be
configured with optional sampling tips including Packard's exclusive PiezoTip. The submicroliter tip options provide all of the same sampling capabilities you rely on with conventional pipettors including aspiration and non-contact dispensing, liquid level sensing, and the ability to process most liquids.

A Model to Meet Every Capacity Need
The MultiPROBE II family offers multiple deck sizes to address every capacity need. Standard Systems are compact in size, requiring limited bench space, while offering deck capacity of up to 16 labware tiles or 750 test tubes.

For higher capacity requirements, MultiPROBE II EXpanded systems are designed in a modular fashion to allow for growth and changing needs. EXpanded systems are designed with a central 16 tile capacity, but can have two expansion modules added that provide eight tile capacities each. With MultiPROBE II, capacity of 32 tiles is provided without the
requirement for expensive robotics.
