The compact KOBOLD Vortex Flow Meter Type DVZ is used for measuring and monitoring smaller and medium
flows of low-viscosity, water-like liquids in pipelines.
The device operates almost maintenance-free using the vortex principle. A sharp-edged object (vortex
generator) is installed in the flow channel. Behind this object, vortices are created, the frequency of which is proportional to
the flow velocity of the liquid.
By measuring the vortex frequency, the flow rate can be determined very accurately. A very
high linearity is achieved over the entire measurement range.
The devices can be equipped with a switch, frequency, or analog output. Additionally, a
compact electronics option is available, which includes a digital display, a switch, and an analog output.
A dosing and counting electronics is equipped with two switch outputs, one analog output, and a two-line display.
