Features of the VHX-600K

All-in-One camera with Super Fine Grip

Observation can be conducted without placing or breaking,
cutting or processing the object. With integrated features, including a Super-Fine CCD camera,
high-performance halogen lamp, image processing circuit, hard disk drive, and CD-R/RW drive,
the all-in-one design of the VHX-600K integrates the functions of "Observe," "Record," and "Measure."

Up to 18 million pixel images - 5 resolution levels of high-resolution images that can be selected for your purpose

The microscopic movement of the actuator can shift the 2.11 million pixel CCD
(Pixel Shift function). You can choose from four options for the number of pixels
(18 million / 8 million / 4 million / 2.11 million) depending on the observation purpose.

Digital focusing function (Depth Composition)

When using a conventional microscope to observe an object with large projections and
depressions, only part of it can be focused due to the shallow depth of field.
The VHX-600K has extensive depth composition functions to create an image with overall focus,
by assembling and overlaying images taken at different focus positions.
The VHX-600K is equipped with digital focusing functions that use leading technologies.
These functions include real-time depth composition for real-time display of an image with overall focus
by turning the focus adjustment knob, high-quality depth composition for high-precision images,
and fast depth composition for immediate composition.

Optimal image mode (E-Preview mode)

Even first-time users of the VHX-600K can display effective images by simply pressing the OPTIMIZE button.
Pressing the OPTIMIZE button brings up a list of four types of image modes.
Just click on the image best suited for observation to start observing in optimal mode.

Bump Enhancement function

By pressing the ENHANCE button, the lighting is immediately switched to the partial illumination mode,
which enhances projections, depressions, and edges.

Digital zoom for more detailed observations

The VHX-600K features a digital zoom function for instant magnification of the desired area.
The split-screen function divides the screen vertically, horizontally, or into four parts to simplify comparative observations.

Various image correction functions

The VHX-600K features contrast optimization for automatic adjustment of image quality.
The light halo intensity reduction function suppresses the light halo intensity from highly reflective objects
and adjusts brightness. The wide-angle view function displays the image with the correct brightness,
even when the object has both excessively dark and bright areas, the supercharge shutter function for
improving screen brightness due to insufficient light intensity by extending the shutter time,
the edge enhancement function for highlighting the edges of the observation area in real-time, and the gamma correction function
for emphasizing contours by improving contrast.
