100V, 10A, 1000W Pulse Mode SourceMeter Test Instrument

The 1-kW SMU measurement device 2430 offers the same DC sourcing and measurement ranges as the 100-W SMU measurement device model 2425,

but additionally features a unique 1-kW pulse mode and thus a current limit of 10 A.

This makes the model 2430 ideal for measuring the breakdown voltage of many types of high-power components,

including multilayer varistors (MLVs) and semiconductor devices.

In manufacturing tests, the breakdown voltage is often measured at high current pulses of up to 10 A.

The model 2430 combines programmable bipolar voltage and current sourcing up to 10 A at 100 V (pulsed)

with all high-speed test functions of the 2400 series and can be programmed to generate individual pulses or pulse sequences

with pulse widths of up to 5 ms and varying duty cycles.

In the 1-kW range, pulses of up to 2.5 ms with an 8% duty cycle can be programmed.
