temperature, frequency, and mechanical load

The method of Dynamic Mechanical Spectroscopy (DMTS/
DMTA or DMA) uses forced mechanical vibrations
to deform the test specimens. The samples can be loaded
under tensile, compressive, bending, and shear stress.
