Function Description:

Press laminating and folding are standard procedures that meet the state of the art.
Press laminating is a method for connecting components.
The components to be connected are the carrier part and the decorative material.
The decorative material is coated with an adhesive on the back, the adhesive side.
Before press laminating, the decorative material is positioned and pre-fixed in the component holder on the lower tool.
The carrier part is placed on the part handling.
The machine cycle can begin.
During the pressing process, the decor and carrier are bonded through compression and after a certain time,
the adhesive time, they are connected.
During pressing, the overhanging decor on the carrier is folded.
Folding refers to the process of wrapping a decorative material around a carrier edge by 90° or 180°.
You load the tool in the machine with the components.
The decorative material is positioned and fixed on the lower tool using needles.
On the lower tool, there are the component holders.
The component holders are the aluminum holders milled to contour according to CAD data.
You place the carrier part on the part handling.
By pressing the start button, the machine cycle is initiated.
The press laminating process begins.
The part handling with the carrier part is transported to the center of the tool between the upper and lower tool.
The upper table of the machine with the upper tool descends and takes over the carrier part from the part handling.
During the takeover, the carrier part is positioned on the punch of the upper tool and fixed with grippers.
The upper table moves further into the component holder of the lower tool.
Now the pressing of the decor and carrier takes place over the component holders and punch, bonding the decor and carrier together.
During the pressing, the overhanging decorative material is simultaneously folded.
After a certain time, the tool is opened. The machine and tool return to the home position.
The operator can now manually remove the finished laminated components from the lower tool at the component input workstation.
