The system can also receive an upgrade with additional costs if desired by you.
With this upgrade or conversion, you would practically receive a like-new system in the old housing with a 12-month warranty.
Then heating, scanner, laser, and control would be changed/installed.
 
Eos 380 conversion/upgrade
- 1x 8 zone heating upgrade -> Build temperature up to 300° Celsius for PEEK and PP, PA6 materials, temperature distribution +/- 1 Kelvin
(Standard machines from EOS or other manufacturers can only go up to 200 degrees)
- 1x Scanner/Laser upgrade -> Build speed up to 30m/s (Standard machines can only go up to max. 10m/s, EOS only up to 7m/s)
- PLC/Software upgrade -> Machine is open source, all parameters are freely selectable and adjustable, all freely available powder materials on the market can be purchased and used
(Other manufacturers completely lock their machines, so the customer has no adjustment options)
- complete overhaul of all mechanical components such as axis guides, seals, filter changes, etc.
