The OPAL 400 is a fully hydraulic, water-cooled hot mounting press with a bayonet lock for embedding specimen mounts.
The electronic control system fully automates the process via an LCD interface.
Press molds can be quickly changed without tools.
The robust aluminum construction is powder-coated.

Due to its solid construction and a QATM hydraulic system, the operating noise of the hot mounting press is pleasantly quiet.
Various press molds with diameters of 25.2 - 40 mm and different pressure modes allow for optimal embedding of the specimen.
