The new large freeformer 300-3X processes three components in ARBURG plastic freeforming (AKF) and enables – for the first time worldwide –

the industrial additive manufacturing of complex functional components in durable hard-soft connections with support structure.

The designation 300 stands for the available component carrier area in square centimeters.

The build space now offers 50 percent more room for parts with dimensions of up to 234 x 134 x 230 millimeters compared to the freeformer 200-3X.

“3X” stands for the three axes of the component carrier that can move in the x, y, and z directions.
