Here we offer a new SRC valve from Alfa Laval.

Application Area

The SRC valve is a pneumatically actuated seat valve in a hygienic,
flexible design that allows for use in a variety
of applications, e.g., as a shut-off valve with two
or three connections or as a switching valve with three to
five connections.

Operating Principle

The valve is actuated by compressed air. It has
few moving parts and is therefore extremely reliable.

Standard Version

The SRC valve consists of an actuator, lip seal,
valve disc, and valve housing. The components are joined with
clamp connections and a clip system for the
valve insert. In sizes NW 125
and NW 150, the piston and valve disc are bolted together.
To facilitate installation, the valve is delivered only
in a partially assembled state. In the standard version,
the valve has welded connections.

The sizes NW 125 and NW 150 of the SRC valve
have a significant weight. Therefore, we recommend the manufacture
and use of a support device. Instructions
for this can be found in the assembly and operating manual IM
70007. However, this device cannot be supplied by Alfa Laval.

Pneumatic downward movement, spring return (NO).
Pneumatic upward movement, spring return (NC).
Pneumatic upward and downward movement (air/air)
(not for sizes NW 125 and NW 150).
Actuator for mid-position of the valve disc as an option
(not for sizes NW 125 and NW 150)

(depending on valve specification): 1000 kPa (10 bar).
Minimum product pressure: Vacuum.
Temperature range: -100C to +1400C (EPDM).
Air pressure: 500 to 700 kPa (5 to 7 bar).
