The 3D Ultrasonic Cutter from Fill enables three-dimensional contour trimming
of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasound-driven cutting systems.

The principle:

The linear axis portal allows for precise guidance of the ultrasonic cutter with minimal space requirements and simple kinematics.
With the Siemens CNC control 840 D, the trimming device can be programmed like a machine tool.
Tool corrections or path changes can be easily made directly at the machine.
Standardly, the machine is equipped with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit.
However, it can also be equipped with alternative systems. The cutter is equipped with a separate rotary axis,
to cut tight radii and save other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
