The 2-Port EtherCAT Splitter EK1122 can be used at any point in an EtherCAT terminal strand
between the EtherCAT terminals and enables the construction of EtherCAT star topologies.
By using multiple EK1122 in a station, a modular EtherCAT star distributor can be realized.

The EK1122 has two RJ45 sockets that allow the connection of an Ethernet cable
with RJ45 plug and establish a connection to another EtherCAT strand
or to individual EtherCAT devices.
The EK1122 supports the connection and disconnection of EtherCAT strands during operation (Hot Connect).
