Das Gerät dient der rheologischen Charakterisierung verschiedener Substanzen.
Es können sowohl Spann- als auch Kriechversuche durchgeführt werden.
Außerdem kann oszillatorisch und rotatorisch gemessen werden.
Es existieren verschiedene Messgeometrien zur Charakterisierung niedrig-
und hochviskoser Fluide sowie von Emulsionen und Suspensionen.
Außerdem existiert eine Vorrichtung zur DMTA-Analyse und
eine Messzelle (Bikonus) zur Charakterisierung von Grenzflächen.
